Orr Amsel is a partner in Naschitz Brandes Amir’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice where he focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation. Orr has extensive experience representing international and domestic corporate clients with respect to a wide range of litigation and advisory matters.


Orr has been with Naschitz Brandes Amir since his internship in 2012. From 2015 to 2017, he studied law abroad and practiced as a foreign associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Litigation Department in New York.

  • Successfully represented FIMI in a multi-million USD commercial dispute concerning the interpretation and execution of an adjustment mechanism in a share purchase agreement following a reverse triangular merger.
  • Successfully represented FIMI in a multi-million USD claim by a commercial finder seeking a finder’s fee in connection with one of FIMI’s largest transactions, including prevailing before the Supreme Court on appeal.
  • Successfully represented Mekorot in a multi-million USD property damage lawsuit alleging losses from inadequate water supply, and upheld the judgment before the Supreme Court on appeal.
  • Successfully represented a joint tender participant in arbitration against a commercial partner regarding the supply of products to an African country, and successfully defended the arbitral award in subsequent confirmation and enforcement proceedings.
  • Successfully represented Shlomo Insurance Company in a multi-million USD commercial claim involving allegations of trade secret misappropriation and infringement.
  • Successfully represented Check Point in a multi-million USD contractual dispute, including the successful collection of awarded sums.
  • Successfully represented A. Arenson in complex construction disputes with owners and subcontractors, including multi-million USD claims against the Israeli Port Company, Israel Roads Company, and an Indian construction supplier.
  • Successfully represented foreign reinsurers in a centi-million USD insurance and construction dispute arising from alleged defects in a desalination plant, including claims for loss of profits due to construction delays.
  • Successfully represented foreign construction companies in cross-border centi-million USD disputes stemming from turbine failures.
  • Ongoing representation of foreign insurers in a centi-million NIS professional negligence claim involving construction delays in residential skyscrapers.
  • Ongoing representation of the Afcon group in several centi-million NIS property damage claims arising from factory fires.
  • Ongoing representation of a competitor in a multi-million USD antitrust action against Wolt, alleging damages from anti-competitive practices.
  • Ongoing representation of commercial real estate owners in a multi-million USD claim against foreign buyers for failure to execute the transaction documents.
  • Representing and advising foreign banks in anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-financing of terrorism (CFT) disputes.
  • Representing diverse companies in complex shareholder disputes, including obtaining and defending against interim relief.
  • Representing companies in consumer and insurance class actions, as well as derivative actions.
  • Representing companies and individuals in sophisticated intellectual property disputes, including service invention claims, core IP ownership, trade secret misappropriation, trademark conflicts, and copyright royalty collections.
