Amir Cooper is a partner and the co-head of the Tax practice at Naschitz Brandes Amir. Amir advises Israeli and international clients on various tax issues, with a particular focus on international taxation and cross-border transactions.

Amir's clients include Israeli corporations, multinational groups, private clients and high-net-worth individuals. Amir's expertise covers diverse tax issues, and he regularly advises on corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, structuring for M&A transactions and inbound and outbound investments. He combines his transactional tax expertise with experience representing clients before the tax authorities to find practical solutions to complex tax problems.

Before joining Naschitz Brandes Amir in 2026, Amir was a partner at another leading Israeli law firm and, earlier in his career, practiced at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. Amir is admitted to practice in Israel and New York and is also qualified as a certified public accountant.

Amir holds an LL.B. and a B.A. in Accounting from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an LL.M. in Commercial Law, magna cum laude, from Tel Aviv University, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.
