Gil Brandes is a partner located in the Tel-Aviv office. He joined the firm in 1990 and specializes in high-tech practice, venture capital transactions, corporate law, commercial transactions and securities law. Mr. Brandes has acquired extensive legal and business experience assisting high-tech companies in all phases, from incorporation through seed funding and eventually to exit arrangements (whether mergers and acquisitions, public offerings or other). He is well qualified to advise high-tech companies (including those from the biotech fields) in various aspects of their business. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brandes completed his internship with the Tel-Aviv law firm of Yigal Arnon & Co. From there he went to New York where he worked for approximately one year in the New York offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Born in Haifa, Israel, Mr. Brandes received his LL.B. degree from the University of Buckingham in 1989 and was admitted to practice law in 1990. Mr. Brandes is fluent in Hebrew and English. He is an avid and experienced collector of contemporary art.
