Gil Atar is a partner located in the Tel-Aviv office. He specializes in civil litigation, complex tort litigation, toxic tort cases, insurance law and all other aspects of tort law, including medical and other professional negligence, and sport law.

Mr. Atar joined the firm in 1994. Prior to that, he worked for six years in the claims and insurance department of the Ministry of Defense. During that time, Mr. Atar also served as a legal representative for the Israeli Government’s Attorney General and handled claims in which the State of Israel was involved.

Mr. Atar represents many well-known international clients in Israeli litigations (including product liability claims, insurance claims and private international law issues). In addition, Mr. Atar has extensive experience advising clients with respect to litigation matters outside of Israel (for example, in the Netherlands, England, Australia, Russia, Denemark, Italy and the United States).
Mr. Atar is also the legal advisor of the Olympic Committee of Israel.

Born in Petach Tikva, Israel, Mr. Atar received an LL.B. degree (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University in 1994 and was admitted to practice law in Israel in 1994.

Mr. Atar is fluent in Hebrew and English.
